This years graduating class of Seniors and parents had a unique challenge ahead of them. 2020 brought us an unprecedented situation that had all of us coming up with creative coping mechanisms for our "new normal". This particular group of friends graduating from Oak Park High School in Oak Park, California, where determined not to let the pandemic keep them from a graduation with an official feel to it.
On an ordinary afternoon in May 2020 this exceptional group of friends and parents held a driveway graduation ceremony at one of the seniors house in Thousand Oaks, California. I was honored to be invited to photograph this event. Here are a few of my favorite photos from the evening.
