There is only one way to get your profile noticed and that is consistency and engagement. When you do post try to keep it consistent. Instead of posting 3 photos in 1 day stretch them out 1 post a week on the same day for 3 weeks. Make sure you are asking your followers questions to get them to engage with you in your comments. I like to kick off the comments by asking a question. The more people chat with you in the comments the more likely Instagram will let your profile be seen. Here are some tips for questions to ask in either your posts or your Stories.
What year would you travel back to and why?
Mountains or Beach? Which would you choose?
What is your netflix binge?
what is your most used emoji?
What was / is your dream job?
What would you tell the 21 year old version of yourself?
What 1 word would you use to identify yourself?
What is something you are thankful for?
What is something no one knows about you?
It is just as important to keep engagement in your stories. Instagram gives you tons of ways to make it quick and easy for people to respond to your story. Upload your photo to your story click on the square with the smiley face. Play around with polls, quizzes, questions and the slider. It is fun to see what people interact with.
The most crucial part to your Instagram is your photos. Don't post just to post make sure you post only your best work. Brand yourself and make your feed follow with a similar color pallet running through your profile. This is not where to post behind the scenes and photos with your kids or you walking the dog. If you have a post worthy personal photo post it in your story.
