It has been a very Hot and very rainy June this year. My client Samantha and I had high Hopes to do this family shoot in Orlando at Leu Gardens. However, every time we would plan our shoot we had to cancel due to horrible thunderstorms. If you have ever been to Leu Gardens you know it is a beautiful location for photos. It is not a great place to be in thunderstorms and overly hot weather. There is no where to hide if lightening should strike. And from the looks of the 2 daughters gorgeous dresses I was not willing to risk these getting ruined as well. We decided to stay local and do the shoot in Brevard County. Luckily Samantha is a talented photographer herself and has an eye for locations. She spotted a few open fields and we decided on one in her neighborhood that had purple wild flowers to match the girls dresses. The heat was high but not suffocating and we were able to avoid any rain showers. We ended up having a session more beautiful than if we had gone to Orlando.
